Dev TandonPresident
Dev Tandon founded KiniMetrix in 2007 based on years of research and development with Kini Consulting, an advisory firm he established in 2002 that focuses on marketing strategy and operations. During his tenure, he has successfully overseen approximately 50 marketing efforts for companies of all sizes.
Dev is a former pricing expert from McKinsey & Company, where he served clients in industries ranging from industrial manufacturing to consumer goods and hi-tech. While at McKinsey, he developed expertise in business-to-business pricing and helped transform the firm's philosophy on pricing in distribution environments.
Together with his colleagues at Kini Consulting, Dev has helped develop KiniMetrix, the patent-pending approach around variance analysis of pricing and unit volumes, a task that virtually every business struggles to perform with accuracy. Under his leadership, Kini Consulting took its KiniMetrix price and volume measurement methodology, the product of close to 10 combined years of research and development, to market in 2007.
Prior to founding Kini Consulting and working with McKinsey & Company, Dev held positions at Microsoft Corporation, Trilogy Software, and General Electric Aircraft Engines in a variety of capacities. He has published several McKinsey & Company working papers and articles in periodicals on topics ranging from pricing to IT strategy.
Dev holds a degree in Computer Science from Princeton University.
